Home visit
Home visits are an important part of your child’s settling in process. It is an informal discussion with you and your child in your home, and provides Early Years Practitioners an opportunity to bond with your child; discussing special requirements, likes, dislikes and interests which will help us to get to know you and your child. We encourage these as we have found that the children are more comfortable on their settling in session as they recognise us from their home environment and therefore are proven to be more confident when they start Nursery.
Settling in sessions
We offer one free settling in session (3 hours) which we can arrange at a time to suit you. We recommend parents and carers stay for the first half hour to an hour and return at the end of their session. This allows your child to explore the Nursery environment at their leisure and familiarise themselves with the daily routine and their Key Person.
Further settling in sessions are available upon request at the cost of the hourly price.
