Open Day / Evening 2026
Open Evening Thursday 15th October
6.00pm-8.30pm
Our open evening is designed to show prospective pupils and their families’ important aspects of school life before making decisions about secondary school applications. There will be an opportunity to tour our school and talk to pupils and staff.
There is no need to book a place at our open evening – just turn up. There will be a talk by the Headteacher at 6.00pm in the Main Hall.
School day tours – High School
The high school will be open for tours on 15th October. This gives a chance to see what Wigmore School is like on a normal school day and meet our pupils and staff.
Tour times: Between 9.50am and 12.00-noon

Taster days
In July we run High School taster days for year 5 children focused around a series of fun but educational activities to give children a taste of life at high school in the hope of making the transition a less daunting experience.
Induction days
All children who are successful in gaining a place at Wigmore High School will be invited to an induction day in July prior to starting in Year 7 to allow them to start to get to know the school, staff and other pupils.
