Q. What will my child need to bring with them to Nursery?
A. You will need to bring:

  • A labelled spare pair of clothes.
  • A healthy packed lunch if they are staying for lunch.
  • A coat (weather permitting)
  • Sun hat and sun cream (weather permitting)
  • A pair of named wellington boots.

Your child will not need a water bottle as one will be provided and kept at Nursery when your child starts.  


Q. How will you settle in my child?

A. We will settle your child in by attending a home visit, a settling in session and familiarising ourselves with your child’s likes and interests.


Q. Do I have to consent to a home visit?

A. No, home visits are entirely optional however, they are recommended as we find them beneficial – please refer to ‘Starting at Wigmore’ section.


Q. Is there a minimum amount of sessions my child must attend?

A. You can book as many hours as you wish with us at Wigmore.


Q. Do I need to put down a deposit for my child to start?

A. If you would like your requested sessions guaranteed then a £40 deposit is requested. If a deposit is not sent then sessions will be subject to availability at requested start date.

Q. How do you invoice and how can I pay my fees?

A. You will be invoiced termly and expected to pay the terms fees by the end of that term. Extra sessions will be included in the next terms invoice. For further information please email our Business Manager Alison MacArthur at [email protected]


Q. Can I change my start date if needed?

A. Yes you can alter your child’s start date, however it is important to have a planned start date so we can book home visits and settling in sessions.


Q. Can I change the sessions my child attends?

A. You can yes, although they will be subject to availability and we require as much notice as possible.
