Trips, Visits and Visitors

At Wigmore Primary School, learning doesn’t only take place in the classroom. We carefully plan trips and visits to enhance the learning that is taking place at school. We also arrange for visitors to come into school to share their expertise with the children. We believe that variety is very important so that we engage all the children and their learning styles. From Key Stage Two, children begin to foster a sense of independence with a range of residentials. There is the opportunity to sleepover in school, take part in an outdoor adventure residential and see the city lights!
